Our Story
Glossop Cat Rescue was set up in July 2022. Since then we have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 1000 cats and kittens.
We also work in the local community, supporting owners with advice, neutering or care of their cats. We work from a small cattery in Old Glossop and carefully selected foster homes.
The cats receive the very best and highest standards of care and treatment. We always put the needs of an animal first. Our main costs are food, flea/worm treatments and the never ending vet bills.
The team is primarily Julie, Nicola and Alice. We’re supported by a dedicated and loving team of volunteers and fosterers. Every one of us are devoted to the cats that come into our care.
We can only continue with the support of our local communities and well wishers. We’re always extremely grateful of fundraising activities and offers of support and help.
